Basic ICF Installation Training Class with Boynton Williams & Associates Architects
Insulated Concrete Forms & More OKC had the honor to host a Basic ICF Installation Training class for Boynton Williams & Associates Architects and some of their team members. Over the past few years BWA Architects and their teams have fully embraced, accepted and designed projects that have been built using the Insulating Concrete Form (ICF) method of construction. Many of these projects are public school buildings which have been designed to meet and exceed the rigorous ICC-500 and FEMA standards, each designed to ensure the safety of the building's precious occupants in Oklahoma’s infamous storms.
Many Builders, myself included, are guilty of complaining that Architects don’t have enough field experience and won’t listen to those of us who do. But that said, I take my hat off and bow low to BWA Architects for sending these young professionals over for a full day to learn tricks of the trade concerning “proper ICF installation practices” which improve efficiency and profits.
If you or someone you know is thinking about building and in need of a professional and forward thinking architectural team, I hope you will take time to visit with Boynton Williams & Associates Architects. Thank you BWA for listening!
